UNIT 5 TASK 2

Below I will be showing photos of what we set up in a live sound session in college last week.

This is the kit that we set up, this was taken whilst we were getting all the parts we needed.
This is the D.I. (Direct Input), which we used to put all the lead into and connected to the sound desk to make it easier to control all the amps and microphones.
This is the amp we used for the bass, we placed an AKG D112 as it can handle the low spl’s.
This is a mic we used for the piano, set up on a stand.
Here we used an Audix-D6 for the bass drum.

Here is an SM58 that we set up for the vocals.
Here is the monitor we set up, and then placed next to the drum kit so the drummer is able to hear.
This is the mic stand we used for the vocals.
This is a “stack amp”, we used this for guitar, and it contains an amp, plus a head amp on top which supplies all the controls.
These are the two monitors we used at the front. They helped the vocalist and guitar/bass players.
